Alhamdulillah.. we won the game 4-1! there wasnt enuff staff to play initially, but eventually we have 1 extra... which was soo much crutial because one staff had a hamstring pull just minutes into the game, and this guy, big n burly, without even a pair of soccer boots, came in to take over. i underestimated him.... it turned out he was a very good player after all!!! lots of tackles n clearance was done by him.. the ball seemed to go towards him ah...! hehe imagine him playing with a proper pair of soccer boots.. sure power nye!! according to others, he usually play soccer wif his kids.. hmm, interesting ah! :)
i was a substitute as usual.. hehehe, there was another player on the bench wif me, n i was aware only either of us would play. he started blabbering like saying n emphasizing either of us would come in, n he said he really wanted to play, but he'd rather let me in. he kept pushing me to say i'd go in. but i gave a simple but short, precise reply. i said "i leave it to the captain, if he chooses u, then u go in. if he chooses me, then i'd play willingly, but i wont say i'd go in"! ahaks! sour grapes ah he is, i think.
i just got the feeling i might not play, but i was not feeling disappointed, coz if Allah decides i play, i will. if not, then redha ah. well, it was fated dat my own maths tutor who was on the field called my name.. so here i go ah. i asked him which position id be slotted it! was surprised to be asked to pair up wif another striker who is of S-League material, he plays for an S-League club! so imagine ah how i felt! hehehe but he's a nice humble guy.. n being a non striker i was, i dared not try shots even though we were oredi leading 3-1. there was a chance i almost tot of shooting, but i saw the s league guy near me, so i tot he might get a better chance of scoring. but it didnt turn out a goal ah.. no matter, i was still very very happy wif my performance. i got to turn around defenders, run past them, received long balls, and dribble... it was ecstacy for me!
so i know ive made my presence felt, i know ive let them see my runs... the next thing for me to do now is to improve my staminas before the next match, and hope to be selected again! i was only playing for about 20 mins n i was panting... so i know how much i have to push myself now ah...
sigh, another boring day at home.. going to catch a nap before i fetch my dad home. tired from soccer n jb trip early dis morning.. the usual errands for my mom ah.. but at least i get to top up V-Power at RM$23.70!! ahaks!
btw car oso needs washing.. my darling is soo dirty now...!
