haaaahhh finally...
i tried updating the blog last few days ago but somehow i wasnt able to add any entry. so for my adik orange fanatiq, here's my new entry! :)
its been a hectic first week of syawal. i guess i've been too busy dat i ignored my rest n my health dat i fell sick in the middle of my sleep on fri night. coincidentally on dat night, i went out wif my tajwid friends including our ustaz to some of our houses. at the last house, i was oredi having some discomfort in my throat. n i was really really sleepy. we reached our last house at 11pm, n as usual, we would spend quite a long time at dis house since its the same house we go for our classes. n there was coffee.. yes coffee!! i've begun a liking for coffee since i started dis class coz we finish late, n coffee helps keep me awake while i drive home. so dat night, i guess semua ngantuk, including me.. my ustaz advised me to drink coffee ah, since i'd be driving, n i would send my friend at Yishun first from Buangkok Green before i head home. so kita nie tak tau, org sakit tekak tak leh minum kopi coz its heaty. buuttt, i drank at least 4 glasses.. n the host was still offering me more but i was oredi full...
soooo i woke up at about 4am looking for my dad's remaining lozenges coz my tonsil swelled very bad! heheheh... tried to bear the flu till the end of the day when i decided to go see the doc on sunday morning, which i did. got the necessary medicine, but my cough got bad. alhamdulillah now its better. but the usual ritual of coughing out the night phlegm really hurts the diaphragm n the stomach muscles! coz if i didnt do dat, it really feels irritating like having something stuck in the throat!
met a friend for lunch at PP yesterday afternoon. it was a time to catch up wif each other, coz its been quite a while since we met n chat. n i guess it was a time for her to ask me abt my new person in life which i'll describe in the later part of dis entry. i enjoyed the time i spent wif her, her antics alwiz makes me laugh n i've alwiz enjoyed her company. towards the end of the meeting, i wanted to "mintak maaf" face to face, but she avoided it, n i could see tears welling in her eyes. she said dat we've oredi done dat on msg n mail. i decided not to push it. i felt bad dat she had to feel sad. i guess it brought back memories. but i seriously hope she's happy now, i noticed her relationship has improved tremendously, n she doesnt have to feel responsible abt wat happened, now dat i've finally settled down wif someone. to my friend, thanx for everything. ive finally moved on now, n im happy to see u happy too. i wish u all the best in ur future endeavours. friends forever... :)
hmm... i think some ppl r waiting for me to tell more abt my new person in life.. :) ya, alhamdulillah, thanx to my colleague n his girlfriend, i was introduced to one of their relatives. at the beginning, i oredi told them dat they shouldnt expect anything to turn out from dis friendship, coz we cant predict the future. i accepted the introduction wif an open heart, to start a new friendship, n let Allah pave the way for anything if any. moreover, we started from a simple strings of sms and occasional phone calls. n ya, it was thrilling to meet her for the first time, when i fetched her from SIM one night. we had a light dinner, and spent the remaining time at boat quay, enjoying the serene n peaceful night.
from then on, we carried on the calls, n met occasionally. as our friendship progressed, i learn more of her, her sweet n pleasant character, n her crappiness, just as crappy as me. but im still the more crappy between the two! n i like her for her ability to not just able to tolerate my crappiness, she could even match it to a higher level! hahaha ya, i really enjoyed talking crap wif her. sometimes i would be the one at the loss of words.... but we never fail to crap to each other. dat makes our conversation very chirpy n upbeat most of the time.
i believe Allah really paved the way for us to be together, coz i began to develop feelings for her after 4 mths of friendship, n it was really special for us when we became "official" on the night we believed was Lailatul Qadr. it was malam 23 Ramadhan, n dat night, we met a while after i ended my tuition at Simei, n she was from mosque performing terawih. it was sooo sweet of her to give me a small bottle of my fav choc chip cookie!! n her mom asked her to give me a roll cake they made themselves. i sent her home after a brief 30 min meeting, n headed home. n dat night was soo peaceful. the sky was totally clear, stars were twinkling all over, n it was breezy. i got to do terawih wif my mom at home, n my other half went to Qiamul lail at Alkaff mosque. i believe it was a good start to a brand new life, n we're looking forward to developing our relationship further along Allah's guidance n blessing.
