Alhamdulillah... it went smoothly!
my aunts like Darling Da, to the extent one of my aunties actually waited for Da to come out from taking ablutions, to salam her before my auntie left! :)
Mom n dad can be seen looking happy to have met Da. mom asked how i really got to know her, if Da likes our house, , n mom suggested plans of me renovating the other room in my house should i decide to stay wif them. n then came the suggestion of getting IKEA furnishing for dat room.. n i think dad likes Da's attractive eyebrows! but as usual, dad doesnt say much, he's been keeping things to himself. but i can see they like Da, n alhamdulillah things r going smoothly. being dad, he just gave a short but meaningful advice: "as long as u heed mom n dad's advice, insyaAllah things will go smoothly from there n u'll get married in no time".
its unfortunate dat mom n dad contracted a bad flu since few days ago. having taken their medicines, they didnt get the amount of rest they should yesterday coz we accompanied wak satinah to Segamat, Johor, to finalise the details of my cousin's marriage to be held insyaAllah dis coming late May or early June. so now, mom n dad are resting, sleeping for a while. its fated dat they have to be sick when we would be heading to Darling Da's house later today to pass her the ring. probably i have to tell Da dat we'll be slightly late, probably after Asar..
hmm, having butterflies in my stomach soon i guess, much more when we reach there :) Pray for us, n wish us luck ;)
