The Technology Irony

Computers are supposed to assist you in your work, not to make you soo dependent on it that you feel that it's the end of the world if it crashes. Well, I almost felt that way. I thought my new hard disk crashed, which I felt was near to impossible, to consider it was brand new and just weeks old.

Later I realised that my 5 year old motherboard is getting weary, and somehow it is not able to handle 2 harddisks of different makes at the same time. Therefore I had a hard time the entire weekend trying to make things run smoothly on my 40Gb Maxtor disk. I have to let my newly replaced 80Gb Western Digital on hold for a while, till I have enuff funds to get my motherboard replaced!
